FUN FACT! My Mom and Dad are strawberry farmers!! I grew up working the fields and picking the most delicious berries. It's no secret that this is my favourite mask of all. It smells a bit like strawberries when mixed with water! This face mask is made with pink clay, strawberry powder, cranberry powder, grape seed extract, orange peel and a dash of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Strawberry smoothie is both brightening and hydrating and perfect for those with premature signs of aging.
Pink clay absorbs excess oils and gentle exfoliates. Strawberry powder is rich in vitamin C and polyphenols, is soothing and may reduce the appearance of pores. Cranberry powder contains antioxidants and protects the skin against free radicals. Orange peel is a physical exfoliant. Grape seed extract is rich in antioxidants and hyaluronic acid is deeply hydrating.
To use, simply mix 1 -2 tsp of powder with about equal parts water to form a paste. You can make it as thin or thick as you like. Apply to clean, dry skin and leave on for 10-15 minutes or until dry. Wash off with a damp, dark cloth, and continue with your regular skin care routine.
